how long would a 12" AUL last in 5x2x2?

Time to change fish again huh?

maybe im just asking b.c ima be clearing half of my stock

It well take a very long time as they are by far the slowest lungfish species when it comes to growth. Once 18" the growth rate drastically slows down. It may take 5-8 years. They are also become less active as they grow.

It's best to go to the website of the breeding farm and ask them as few people here have own Aussie lung to fully adulthood.

ah okay thanks Earl

id say u could keep a 20" lung in 100g, and since ur tank is about 100g, it could work for a while. Lungs grow very slow.

mines 150 gallon too be exact ;) and only australians grow very slow,it would work for few years

for only a few months...

I guess you didn't read King-el's very accurate post?
