Auras tank mates?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That should be fine for a while, if you are upgrading your tank a ilfew months, it shouldn't matter so much. If the next tank is 5ft or 6ft long, that would be ideal

Your tank is fine for life IMO.
35 cm is already close to maximum size.

It does need plants though, a lot of them if you want him happy.

It is not his tank it is my lf’s one and thats the “problem” my tank is this one whixh have many many plants

35cm is maximum? It's common for auranti to get upto 50-55cm plus, even my friend have a 50 cm male and it's growing ,

My male has maxed out at 40cm. Hes about 4 years old now, so im not sure how long he has left. But he likes to cruise around all 6ft of his tank. I would say 4ft minimum, any more space the better. But everyone has their own ideas:p

Well my tank now (no the one whcih i ll make in 5-6 months) is exactly 4ft long but the depth is 40cm which i dont like . But i dont think that my aura ll have problem for 5-6 months in this aquarium. I ll remove the driftwood from top side to move better

Its max size is around 40 cm.

If you have a 55 cm Auranti, you may want to call Guiness book to have it looked for a world's record. o.O
My 6 years old was 38 cm (granted it was a male) in 180g.
