$290 is a heaps good price. Pity they were only 1", from what ive heard Dats are real slow growers.
Not long ago there was a guy here selling dats for $800 at 15cms!!

Seems there's a lot more interesting fish down south, although with that said Queensland does seem to stock a lot of uncommon fish that aren't so popular, but I've never seen Datnoids or anything for sale up here; ever.

Wetpetz on old cleveland rd has had them on a few occasions.Last one I saw was around the $500 mark.
