On ebay and in the trading post, you can commonly find 5 ft tanks for only $200-$250. I'll be sure to head down that direction in only a couple of months.

It's not a business, either, just a guy operating from home. For the price you wouldn't expect much more, but if your getting a bigger tank it's worth the extra dosh, trust me.

How much is the same tank from ARU? I'd just pay the extra to be honest.

I'm from Sydney, at the moment I have a 5'x2'x2' with a juvy Giant Gourami, Senegal Bichir, Uaru pair, clown loaches, black ghost knife and a gibbiceps. There are some Boulengerochromis microlepis aka Tanganyikan Emperor Cichlid available here now for about $200, not sure if they're available in other states. Also, the boss of the LFS I work weekends at has a very nice pair of albino shortbody senegal bichirs for sale, hoping to buy them at some point.
