On ebay and in the trading post, you can commonly find 5 ft tanks for only $200-$250. I'll be sure to head down that direction in only a couple of months.

I owned a 3 foot from this 'store'. Great if you don't mind your tanks being off square as long as they hold water, but I wouldn't touch anything larger than a 3 foot from this place. It's not a business, either, just a guy operating from home. For the price you wouldn't expect much more, but if your getting a bigger tank it's worth the extra dosh, trust me.

Not worth the 80 bucks? looked like a good idea, meh, I'll have to make one myself.

How much is the same tank from ARU? I'd just pay the extra to be honest.

While I remember, someone hurry up and buy the beautiful full size Aequidens diadema for sale in Pet City, poor guys just sitting in there, excellent looking fish and rare too, can't believe it hasn't been snapped up - if I could afford it it would go nicely in my tank.

I'd trade all my fish in my SAish tank, lol, for a bullrout.

Yeah, they have an add in the weekend shopper, I checked out there website, moderatly priced. good prices for 70 gals are on ebay, search 4 foot fish tank and you can find them for 80 bucks, pretty cheap. The business is in caboulture, so not much of a drive either.

if its the tanks im thinking about they are really rough around the edges and aren't the best at holding water......

I'm from Sydney, at the moment I have a 5'x2'x2' with a juvy Giant Gourami, Senegal Bichir, Uaru pair, clown loaches, black ghost knife and a gibbiceps. There are some Boulengerochromis microlepis aka Tanganyikan Emperor Cichlid available here now for about $200, not sure if they're available in other states. Also, the boss of the LFS I work weekends at has a very nice pair of albino shortbody senegal bichirs for sale, hoping to buy them at some point.

Not sure about pikes, I've heard that there are alli gar available around here for $300, at about 7cm.
