www.thefishfarm.com.au sells some live fish, but at the moment they only have male and female guppies, and silver perch, which you have to buy by the 100s.

www.aussiefish.com specialise in australian natives, and ship australia wide, but are more aimed at buying large quantities of fish for dams etc.

i know there is another one, with cichlid in its name but i can't find it, which is too bad because they are heaps cheaper than livefish

i saw my tandanus catfish in my pond again!!!!!!!so he made it through the winter!!!!!

Silverdragon has contacted me about organising an Australian MFK meet.

This would be the first time an official MFK meet in Australia has been organised.

As you guys/girls are already aware...our members are Australia wide which means some are going to unfortunately miss out depending on where we hold it.

I would like anyone that is interested in participating in an MFK meet to reply in this thread and also mention which state and city you are in. You can also put forward a place to meet if you have any ideas.

If we held in it in QLD I was looking at having a day at Under Water World on the Sunshine Coast.

The eventual organisition of this meet will depend on the interest and the number of members in each State.

QLD members would more or likely attend the MFK meet at Underwater World, depending on when it is i dunno if i could make it down due to work...
Im taking ideas from any members in the Sydney area, where would you guys like to have a meet, maybe we can organize a BBQ a few drinks or what may have you especially with the great weather weve been having lately.. We just need to decide on a venue, who knows maybe the mods can organise a few decals and give aways on the day.. i mean these will be the first 2 ever meets in Australia

The only problem I don't like with underworld is that it's main theme is salt water. they need more freshwater and they need some fresh water rays.

My Father is a member of the Australian Koi Society I know they always have great turn outs at Auburn Botanic Gardens Huge area with BBQ and shelter if required, It also has power and running water.
