Yeah, I'd go for a meet if I could get to it. Underwater World seems a logical spot and I'd probably make the effort to get there, but couldn't get to Sydney I don't think.

What do we mean by a meet exactly? There's a fair variation within that general concept. Are we talking about a whole weekend of non-stop booze type of get together (everyone for this option raise what's left of your right hand since the last time you tried mixing a weekend of booze with a visit to underwater world and discovered that alcohol, buffoonery and swimming with sharks is one of those combination activities best left to the experts, raise your left hand if you now consider yourself an expert) or are we talking cucumber sandwiches and a day out with the kids. I can't see too many points between these options, but I'd be interested to hear some more about what type of activity constitutes a meet.

Basically it will just be a day where we can get a few names to faces, have a chat and get to go/do something that we all have an interest in.

However the interest so far hasn't been that overwhelming

So were using imperial aye?

I have the following;

125G - funky mix of everything that caught my eye, silver aro, rtc, silver dollars, geophagus etc
90G - another funky mix, barra, alligator gar, bgk, tandanus
20G - breeding pair of convicts

And my pièce de résistance is coming in 2~3 weeks which is a 450G.

100 litre i've got a 1 common pleco ,4 angel fish , 2 bristlenose catfish , 1 silver dollar, 1 bumblebee catfish , 1 pearl gourami ,1 rainbow shark , and i think it is a
Zebra cichlid
they are not very big

i just got 12 babies sent over from sydney. they're around 2.5 - 4cm

also all you eastsiders - tell your underwater worlds to tell our underwater world (or AQWA if you will) to build a S/A display tank. the closest we've got to that is a saltwater display with a scat in it and another with a croc and a very underfed 25cm barramundi

Yeah, I have an umbie. Harold is currently about 350mm and growing fast since I got him into his new (for him - since the turtles don't use it any more) 6'x2'x2' tank. He's living fairly happily with two silver sharks.
