ive just been to fiji. we stayed on molololailai island (coordinates 17o46'28.01" south, 177o11'41.38" east, look it up on google earth or maps) and as you can see it has alot of coral reefs around it. where we stayed was about 40 metres from a reef and you could walk out to it (but not on it of course). on the first day we were there i saw a blue spotted stingray, and i never saw it again. other fish i saw include picasso and other triggerfish, coral grouper, moorish idol, spotted porcupine fish, a moray eel which at one point was about 6" away from my toes, some other type of puffer fish, lots of butterfly fish, wrasses, damsels, clownfish, and heaps others i do not know the name of. (im no good with saltwater fish) apparently there was a reef shark hanging around but i did not see it.
well i came back on monday and yesterday did a waterchange on all the tanks , and i found i only lost one fish, a male electric blue hap which was getting picked on by another male which was bigger , and most of the other fish in the tank. and i did a spring clean on the pond, and i took some photos of the fish when they were in my spare tank and a storage cube. it appars there is java fern growing all around the pond, which isn't a bad thing, but interesting. ill upload the photos later.
oh yeah i joined the social group too.
