Since the other thread has served its purpose and had a lot of things off topic... I will be posting updates about his progression each month.

My 20 gallon tank lighting is VERY VERY bad...its like a $10 tube light...ill upgrade soon

He is the FIRST and ONLY Kamfa Malau Flowerhorn in Australia...Might breed him in the future, with a HIGH grade "Silk thai" or "Red Dragon"...

Look up his other thread he's gone through a bunch to get this fish and apparently its almost impossible to get any new fish into Austrailia.
Very nice looking fish Jay. Any intentions on throwing him in a bigger tank anytime soon? Just curious.

Hey man...and yeah im getting another 60 gallon but waiting to move in july...until then ..water change non stop lol..

And yes nitro... Its the one i was talking about... And the way i know is by showing his pics to OTHER breeders in aus...(not the guy who sold it)... I am a sneaky person lol.

Yes on it... btw if i change out 50% gravel today...and do 50% later...isnt that better? And i wont TOUCH my filter lol?

Will add.... a LITTLE blue and orange gravel... dark gravel really makes fish color go dark.
 
I would honestly go with a different tank, or a tank with wider dimensions than a 60g. Flowerhorns grow pretty dam fast and will be 12 inches in no time. In a 60gal he will be as long as the whole width of the tank. Something with an 18" width is good. *that's from front to back. If solo I think 75g is perfect.
