I don't really see a physical reason to say it stunted. Maybe they think that because of it being a short body? Do you know how old it is?
I was told he is 5-6 months old...and hes around 13-14cm mark...
The guy who told me is not really a proper fish keeper but just keeps FH for commercial reason.. I HONESTLY think hes talking out of his arse... cause the pictures I put are of DETAIL... and the members of this forum, would have told me this instantly! So I got no idea where he got it from
He told me:

Your fh fins are not proportionate
Your FH looks stunted

Theres more than one kind of short body, hes probably thinking of Bonsai Flowerhorn which yours is not. As far as I can see, yours is fine.
your fh is fine..as mentioned above there are quite a few shortbodys in the market now..bodylength varies..the bonsai is probably the smallest in length..yours is a shortbody kamfa malau..he is healthy,i dont see signs of stunting..tell the fellow to join mfk..maybe we can teach him something.
