get a few caves and cracks and get some small cichlids i got a small pike an a geo of some sort.

Ho cherry ah the fish!! Made the tank look clean too, looks good braddah. Tank mates shouldn't be a problem for THAT jar, just gotta watch em for be sure. Over all nice tank!

Aloha! Very nice tank and fish.

Since your jar is already 12 inches it might be a bad idea to put anything else in.

I had a friend who had small clown loaches and a small albino rainbow shark with an 11" jar, they lived together since the beginning - the jar was 2.5". He could tell that the jar was eyeing them. Eventually the jar ate the albino rainbow shark but not the loaches. I think it is because of the loaches' sharp fins so if the jar tried to eat them he might have been hurt himself.

Large clown loaches are hard to come by but I would go for a school of them with a jar.

Loaches don't have sharp fins. They do have spines found beneath each eye. Even if the aro tries, both fish lose as the jardini might eventually choke itself to death.

Thanks for the correction.
