I'm in the process of getting 9 juvies. so from what I gather think Salvini in terms of temperament? Gets around 5-9", holds there own with CA's, similiar diets? Kind of like a smaller size Red Terror?
my LFS says they have red ceibals, but they don't look as nice as yours . . . what did they look like as juvies ?
How come these fish arent more popular? are they newly discovered? I know my CA's but never saw these ones. Theyre in the aqualog but not a very good pic compared to here. Cant wait to get them.
Red Ceibals are quite new, probably won't go over 6" in the aquarium and are real pussy cats compared to a lot of the other Australoheros, I have five F1's at home now, they are about 4" and are very mild mannered. The Red breasted ones that we brought home in March are real aggressive in comparison. They really are beauties and deserve more recognition with hobbiests!
