Hey guys I finally had some time to take some pics of the waterchanger idea I used from chompers...

I've almost got it to work...

My 125 gallon with a DIY stand and Waterchanging system that doesnt work perfectly yet.

Prefilter to siphon water out to waste.

Malfunction Junction.... with Valve 2 controlling new water being pumped back into the tank and a check valve on the back end to prevent siphoning back into the new tank water.

Valve 1 controlling water being taken out of the tank...

Mag5 pumping new water into tank...

Orbit Irrigation timer w/ pump control

Pump relay to hook up to timer, so you can control the pump with the timer...

I’m to dumb to help but keep up the good work and you will get it

:iagree: the auto system looks cool, but one good bump from the side and that tank is going down hard. 1000+ pounds of water and glass won't be pretty.

a little off topic, but your stand is asking for trouble. You should add some sort of lateral supprts on the bottom of the legs for starters, real tipping hazard

Oh I plan on addins upport on the bottom I just wanted to get this waterchanger thing done with and install a bottom shelf before I add the lateral support. The stand is pretty strong so I'm not too worried about it yet.

How goes it? Good straight forward layout, I just have two questions right now :D , where does the drain go and what is the pipe going to the ceiling (a stand pipe for vapor lock?) ?

Hurry and finish so I can steal, I mean liberate your ideas.
