I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies actually.
Wow.I dont think I know anyone who can make that claim, other than a few small children.

Great movie!Saw it in 3d and wow!:headbang2

The idea of a trilogy is great if they have a good follow up for the story.

If they make a sequel or more, I hope they go BIG! Spend just as much if not more like they did on this movie. We all know that most sequels just is nothing compared to the original. I can think of one set of movies that was BIG from begginning to end:Pirates of the Carribean. Everyone knew the second and the third movie was just going to be good as the first if not better. C'mon Avatar, don't fail us now.

Or better yet....don't make a sequel. Let it be the one BIG movie that we all will remember and want to watch every once in awhile on DVD.

No mention of Lord Of The Rings?

I guess I need to see this movie so I can compare for myself, I just hate going to the movie theater. I'd much rather watch it at home where no one eats popcorn with their mouth open.

There's a decent amount of them, I just have bad memory. I was never really into LoTR but I did see them all. They were real good, wish I would have seen them in theatres though.

There's site for watching movies online.;) Sure it's not legal, but what is nowadays. lol

I never saw Lord of the Rings, but I did read the books because I took a class on them.

I have also never seen any of the Star Wars movies from beginning to end. I've seen parts, and I've seen the Family Guy spoofs (I know, right, I don't even get all of the jokes!) but never actually sat down to watch one of the real movies.

They never said why it was so valuable. I wanted to know that too.

I didn't even think about what the ore was even supposed to be for. They probably figured when they told the viewers that it was work 2 billion per ounce(I totally forget the actual statement) most would just be like "Holy Sh*t". lol I know I did.

I loved the movie, it had drama, action, romance, comedy, all kinds of stuff. I think if it was just a action flick or just one genre most people wouldn't have liked it as much.
bugger. It has annoyed me intently that they didn't explain the reason the whole movie took place in more detail. Ahwell.

It was incredible visually, especially in IMAX 3D, but I thought the script and plot weren't all that great. Definitely not the best movie I'v ever seen, but it was very good.

Maybe you could email the producers or whoever thought of the movie. I doubt they would answer, but you do have a good point. They were mining ore on a different planet....that's about all we get.

Yea I generally like hard scifi, with alot more science content. But those always flop, the general public is just not that interested.Only gonna get that in books. So I went in figuring due to the huge budget this was aimed at a broad audience and would be "dumbed down" scifi.
Still thought it was awesome though.:D
