Can you believe the money that James Camron is making off of this movie! Wow and the media following is crazy. Can't wait to get this movie on blu ray.

I don't see why everyone is raining praise on this movie, the story is terrible! I guess that just shows if you put a pretty package on trash, people will still buy it. Don't get me wrong, it looked fantastic... but for $400 million it damn well better look good.
The graphics in this movie were pretty awesome, but the story line was crap. If you learned about native Americans in grade school, you pretty much already know the story line, except the Indians win this time.
I watched this movie with a friend while drinking, and between the two of us we predicted the majority of the movie. The best comparison of the movie, that I can remember, was it's like a movie the Syfi channel would write, but with a much larger budget.
All said and done, it evened out to be a good movie in the end, mainly because of the awesome graphics. I wouldn't mind watching a second one, as long as they hire a new writer.

I've still yet to see the movie, but generally speaking the story has been told before, its just a new way to see...IN IMAX 3D wooooo! Ha.
i have seen it twice in IMAX and the second time was better and this is the second time that people were clapping and second time the crowd went wild when the blue girl gets saved by the hammerhead dinosaurs. very good movie

and when she didn't want to blast the tree, howcome her gunman didn't snitch on her and get her in trouble?
and in reality, the humans would come back and kill them off and strip the planet of all the resources,............ kind of like they did the indians in the early days
and why send the ground troops to fight those horse riders?? why do that at all when you can fly and drop bombs?
and how did the natives know that the tree can turn a human into a native if humans haven't been there that long? if the tree can do that, the natives would never die, just keep getting transferred into another body,.............
just sayin,...............
but overall, it is a great action packed movie with awesome affects. you need to see it in 3-D, it's worth it,............ you actually shouldn't even bother watching it if you dont' watch in 3-D
