this was the best movie ive ever seen, or at least in the top 3.
my favorite plots are similar to this one, where the main characters are people and in the end are in a place better than regular human civilization on eartrh. i.e.- narnia series, the kids end up living in narnia for eternity. yay! and in this movie, jake gets to stay on pandora and become a Navi, and will never actually die because the dead navi become little featherweight airborne jellyfish.

This is one of the must entertaining movies made IMO. Even if you know the story of Pocahontas and watch this movie, the movie just sucks you in. Makes you become part of the movie. Movies that are true stories made right makes great movie.

Brave Heart – really did happen
Goodfellas – real mob story
Scarface – not really true story … but real life people from nothing to something.
Passion of the Christ – No body really knows what happened, but we all agree Jesus was real person who was really crucified by the Romans. I’m not religious, but the movie almost made me tear.
Avatar – Pocahontas really did happen.

If you read the narnia series they leave and come back multiple times, and eventually they can't come back to narnia.

James Cameron has confirmed that he will be working on a sequel! :D
for real? the way the movie ended it didnt seem like there can be a second movie. unless the second movie just focuses on how they recreate their lives etc.

ACTUALLY, if you read ALL the narnia books, youll learn that they die in a train crash and end up going to narnia as a sort of Heaven, and the final book ends when they learn this, and lucy and eustace meet up with susan, peter, and edmund. in narnia/heaven.

he said he was still thinking of ideas, but there WILL be a sequel.

I will be looking forward into a sequel. Better be better than the first one and better not ruin the whole "Avatar" to start with.

i agree. some movies that you never thought would have a sequel come out with one that was almost better than the first. but there are some where the sequel just ruins it.
