Average Max Length For BGKF?

The males have a longer nose and look more like a horse. Females have rounder shorter nose and have thicker bodies.

Sounds like I need to attempt getting a better pic of my BGK. Based on what you described it sounds like I may have a male. That's one thing I commented on was his "horse-y face" when I finally got a good look at him in his new home. Can you sex them already when they're around 5-6"?

i have two in the same tank and they love to eat colour bits. that really sticks the weight on and also bloodworm soaked in seachem garlic guard they go nuts! mine went forn around 5cms to 15cms in just three weeks and they are much , much bigger now. i put indian almond leaves in my tank and leave the light off mostly and they love it and are super active
