Looks like a Alopias vulpinus. Seeing dead sharks makes me sad.

Dont fish Miami beach or piers at night. You will cry your eyes out lol.

I am not in to saltwater fish thus only went once .

In roughly 4 hours saw 6 baby sharks caught killed/thrown back and few moray eels heads hacked off and also thrown back.

but anyone who legally catches a shark of legal size and wants to eat it or mount it, it's their right. I'm sure TS don't want to hear what a bad guy his dad is for "killing" a shark, he just wanted to share what his dad caught.

If you're going to continue the abuse of capital letters, don't reply. There isn't any need to take sharks. Farmed fish is cheap and sustainable. Sharks are declining in numbers throughout the world. You can enjoy fishing, enjoy eating fish, and keep an eye toward conservation. Also, you just used 30% of the worlds remaining capital letters. Save some for the rest of us.

Awesome catch!!! I love shark, have caught many and killed many. As a fishing guide in Alaska we have several clients who love to catch the salmon shark and I recently went surf fishing out of Galveston and ate up a bunch of the sharks down there. Guess I'm going to hell.

Give the guy a break, he's happy and I'm happy for him. As long as it's legal and not wasted I'm cool with it.

Fishing is like porn. Fun to watch, better to be the star, and some people will always be disgusted by it.

Anyone who wants to flame him for this is immature and shouldn't have opened the thread. Its just the food chain at work. You need to eat, why not eat a fish that lived a happy life instead of one that was raised in a crowded farm. As long as you eat the fish you keep, nobody should have problems with it.

Yeah, I wonder if the guys who have a problem about a thread like this think about the conditions faced by the animals in the slaughterhouse when they are biting into that nice juicy burger.
