I don't know man, runners with real legs, bones, muscles, ligaments, feet are all prone to injury and such. This guy breaks a fake part and he can just put on a spare

Dude is amazing don't get me wrong but they shouldn't bend the rules for him. If usain bolt doesn't qualify, he is done until next tryouts or whatever but this gentleman gets a pass? Not fair nor right

Plus this may open a can of worms on the sport so to speak and instead of countries trying to produce the fastest runners they'll be trying to come up with the best technology and that just screws it all up for me

Pistorius is a remarkable guy ...but.....
It has been shown by sports scientists and engineers that his " cheetah" legs give Pistorius the energy and mechanical equivalent of up to a 12 second or 30% advantage.
He gets to wear special 'running' legs for racing that he does not wear for every day walking etc.
and.....He DIDN'T qualify
