nice!! congrats... i ****ing hate people that can just leave pets out in the cold.

Found a 10G tank, screen lid. W/ 2" of disgusting blue gravel, and a bowl in the trash. Normally I wouldn't stop the car for a 10G but I seen something moving inside of it. Took a look and found one of the unhealthiest, neglected ferrets I have eve encountered in my life. Knocked on the door and the guy inside told me it was his ex's. She took off over a month ago and he had been throwing it dog food here and their but decided he didn't want the hassle anymore. The tank had at least 1/2" of urine in it.

Called the local Animal Control Officer. Just so happen to go to school with the guy and told him what I found. The guy in the house ended up leaving in cuffs. Took me 3 months to get the little guy healthy.

and these tanks are in great condition. i really would like to take the plastic rim off of them. me and my dad plan on building 2 nice stands for them..
I'm unclear on why you want to remove the frame from the tanks but it does not sound like a good idea.

yea dude, its ridiculous how people can be so cruel. and nice find with the ferret man. im glad that guy got what he deserved.

and i have NO CLUE how to get head shots of these dudes lol

And i want to remove the frame and make it look cleaner. ive seen threads on how to remove them. maybee its only for 10 gal's??? idk i might just keep it that way
