There was confusion between the picture and the title of the thread, we can agree on that right? 99% of the posts on this thread (until everyone got upset) were referencing the confusion and seeking answers, not bashing the OP for mislabeling the fish. Again, people simply seeking information and knowledge. I understand that there may be a history between the OP and other commenters, but that doesn't make their questions trolling in this thread. And again, the OP's attitude in his responses doesn't help his case...

This has actually been going on w/ this guy for quite some time. It's nothing new. He's been disrespecting members as long as I have been here. We are actually fueling his ego just by giving this thread any attention at all. HINT HINT

And you can clearly see no hydrization between carpintis and a jaguar, managuensis? So what was the point because I recall it saying Aztec Escondido Carpintis. So don't play innocent like previous members and yourself are so curious as to what?
The name was stated, I purchased as such I don't have to apologize or explain anything to you or any member.
If it's confusing sorry you need to relax and get over it. If your so anal about the name go find Tom and explain your grievances. Nothing wrong with what I put on post. I'm not spoon feeding brine shrimp eggs.
 
I love these posts Orca, I've never seen you post a single bad looking fish. And as following with the tradition the Carpintis is beautiful.

Not gonna lie tho, I always watch the thread waiting for the comments to roll in. XD The back and forth is almost as good as the pictures lmfao

No ones getting butt hurt relax. But, just to be clear...what gain do I have in answering your questions to your liking. Do I get a point on mfk because I answer it to you guys who are using this information for special scientific purposes. Do you write papers on this? Do you do extensive DNA testing for cichlid association or mfk?

Will this help better your understanding and knowledge..... I'm curious why the upheaval and anxiety surrounded in mystery?

i'm a 30 year-man. It's just science to me. It's no question you have incredible strain of fish, but more information and more question arise when less and less questions are answered. I have disagreements w/ other scientists all the time and I treat everyone's opinions with respect and carefully choose my words before responding. it's just being professional. That's all. This is how you get people to respect your opinions, theories, hypothesis, etc

The fact that I have a temper shouldn't matter. Science is based on people w/ differing studies and their ability to discuss them and conclude data logically
