My view is that most people keep them as a symbol, whether they admit it or not. They're still an animal that can't communicate very well...Like I said, one time and it's too late. I'm not looking down on anyone for having them, but there's usually an underlying reason.

That's actually VERY true! They're a status symbol for "tough" guys. Thats one of the most damaging things the AMPBT breed faces. Because therein lies bad training and everything else.

I agree. Or a Tosa or a Rhodesian ridgeback. But I'm sure you know as well as I do that all the gangbanger types won't walk around "da hood" with their Danes or Mastiffs.

They are boss! Lol I think they're awesome. From the Filas to the Neopolitans. BUT they aren't as readily available as Pits. You can find pits on CL all day but Mastiffs aren't so easy to come by...or as cheap. But they are BOSS!

Yea they are definitely not as readily available I got it from my uncle she is awesome has a cool pattern and sways like a panther when she walks and her bark scares of ppl soliciting

Okay so if I someone wants a dog to have companionship it's a symbol? Nice logic. It's prefrence. My grandparents have huskeys to protect their house and for companionship. I doubt they use it at as "symbol ".
