I tried and failed multiple times at getting a job as one before I got it. Its very hard. Ans no offence to them but there is no way being a vet is harded than becoming an md.
Really they are probably about the same... And since there is probably no one who has gone through both vet school AND med school theres really no one to say for sure lol
general vets have to know about more species and that is harder.... but doctors have to know more about different ailments and their treatments. Not positive but I am pretty sure there are far more human problems (that we have discovered at least) than there are animal ones.....
Different aspect to each one and they are probably just as difficult as the other but in different ways.
but vet schools are much more competitive and as snakeguy said.... much higher drop out rate...however there is also much less of them.
