Just got a little guy on tuesday... He is 3" at the MOST... his tank mates are all smaller than him... here is the breakdown:
1 Silver Arowana (2"-3")
1 Electric blue Dempsey (1")
1 Blood Parrot (2")
6 Clown Loaches (1")
5 Silver Danios (dinner later) (2")
2 Plecos (2")
1 Common Lobster (3")
and I ordered 1 Flagtail Perchilodus (will at arrive LFS next week)

I have been putting Spectrum Grow Sinking Pellets in for all the other fish.. and dropping 4-5 Hikari Gold Floating Mini Pellets... the aro is swimming right at them.. but not biting or even tasting them... I am worried because he is so small and has not eaten since the last time the people at the LFS fed him... I really DONT want to start him eating live food.. what can I do to help get him onto floating pellets???

Freeze dried blood worms or crickets.

Blood worms usually work well when the Aro's are really small. I also agree with the crickets, although be careful not to use something too big. I have had small Aro's literally choke on the crickets before. I have also used krill and broke it up. Try to vary your food so he doesn't get used to one thing. As he becomes more comfortable try mixing in pellets as he's feeding. Some Aro's get worked up as they feed and will hit almost anything. You may eventually be able to use the pellets almost daily.
