Baby Aro not eating

assuming this is the arowana

Just got a little guy on tuesday... He is 3" at the MOST... his tank mates are all smaller than him... here is the breakdown:
1 Silver Arowana (2"-3")
1 Electric blue Dempsey (1")
1 Blood Parrot (2")
6 Clown Loaches (1")
5 Silver Danios (dinner later) (2")
2 Plecos (2")
1 Common Lobster (3")
and I ordered 1 Flagtail Perchilodus (will at arrive LFS next week)

I have been putting Spectrum Grow Sinking Pellets in for all the other fish.. and dropping 4-5 Hikari Gold Floating Mini Pellets... the aro is swimming right at them.. but not biting or even tasting them... I am worried because he is so small and has not eaten since the last time the people at the LFS fed him... I really DONT want to start him eating live food.. what can I do to help get him onto floating pellets???

Anyhow if you get pinhead crickets they are about 1/4" it should be fine hardness wise. I work at a fish store and thats what we always feed the fragile baby aro's and they always accept it. Over about two years Ive done this with roughly 30-40 small silvers and not lost a one.
