hi.. i'm assuming they are silver aros.. i have 3 silvers aros.. and two i've had since they were like 4 inches big.. generally keeping two silvers in the same tank is not really advisable.. esp juveniles.. they tend to fight a lot and one of them gets pushed to the bottom.. this happened with my lil silvers and i got another tank to separate them.. the usual combo is odd numbers..1, 3, 5... but you never know.. just keep an eye on them for now.. cheers with the lil guys..

i've been observing them in the tank and they don't seem to be fighting. None of them is being pushed to the bottom haha. btw how do they sleep? like do they stay at the top of the tank or the bottom?

ohh i see, my aunty brought home some tetras and she put the 11 tetras in my tank. what should i do?
im kinda worried about my aros

you need to do some serious research on fish my friend a 100 gallon may last for a year tops probally not a 3hundo to 350 would be good.

i didn't say i was going to keep my aros in the 55 gal. i was gonna keep the aros in there till like they are 6 inches then i will sell one of them because i know that they are not gonna fit. then after selling one of them i will buy a bigger tank.

wouldn't last a year...my silver was 24"+ in 10 months...footprint over gallonage is the key...you could get a 350 with a 18" width and it would be useless for aros

btw my pleco in the tank just stays at the bottom of the tank, is this normal? or is it supposed to be on the walls and bottom?

depends on the type....no offence, but it sounds like you are just starting with fish keeping and starting with the wrong fish...aros are higher on the list for many factors...you should start with african cichlids or something along those lines...not jump in head first when the water is inches deep...young aros are hard enough to keep when you have had fish for many years, much less being the first ones you have...i hope your aros do well and you learn alot...gl

my first fish were oscars so i know a lil bit.
i got a longfin pleco... is it normal?
