baby black, and adult black

What are you confused about? You stated that they have a yolk sack, that would be the top pic that you posted.

The pics of the actual fish don't give that good of a side view, but I would say they are silvers. In one of the pics you can see the side of the head, and it is silver not black.

your baby black pic matches exactly what xxblwn408 said, that blacks that small are black (except maybe for part of the head) with black fins and a yellow stripe. Silvers that small would also have some grayish/black coloring, with a black stripe, but the body and fins won't be black like a baby black aro.

from your pics of the actual fish, i'd say those two are baby silvers (see below)

Think you got silvers dude. That is about the going rate for a silver with yolk sac, but alot of people won't sell them like that. BTW, they must be damn small, 2-3"?

I found it suspicous in the first part because you never ever seen baby blacks that small for sale, as most are wild caught.

I had dreams, and they have been shot down, i too now agree they must be silvers. W/e Im going back tomorrow to check them out and get better pictures.

Yep, looks like silvers to me too.

Im going with silvers as well, I dont think Blacks are imported at that size anymore.

Did they stop importing babies recently? I remember when I had my first Aro(like 12 years ago) my LFS seemed to always have baby blacks with yolk sacks...Had I known what I know now I would have bought them up and raised them huge!
