great pick up!-) there is a good guide to feeding baby aro in the stickys mate, worth a read through. once the water has equalised temp wise with the bag open add a bit 10% more water every 5 min for 25 min to be safe if you like. any pics yet?
obv the tank is all cycled right?

Keep it solitary unti 5-6" and then only a select very non agressive tankmates. Baby arowana are very wimpy. Lots of floating plants will help feel secure. Current is ok as long as not overwehlming. Lower water levelto 6" below tank top. Good first food is freeze dried blood worms, after eating well introduce a quality btoken pellet. Broken pellets work better then small or mini pellet as they are softer for the small aro. Keep nitrates under 10 ppm but dont but over zelis with WCs as they are stressful.
 
When people have told you to close up all the gaps they do mean all the gaps even where the filter pipes go into the tank

A fish shop near me got 15 one season they came in one morning and 8 was missing from the tank

I'm digging the concept, rather creative. But i just can't imagine that the sticky part is facing down. Jordy might have a sticky stuck aro. Thinkin the sticky part holds onto the sides or back lip of the tank (to hold firm) and then the sticky part of another piece of cut tape attaches to the first piece of tape that hovers over the water. Now there's no sticky to hold onto tiny aro when he leaps. Am i close?
 
im sure, as i have before, he has just used it to close the gap in the rear of the hood where the filter pipes enter...
