Hey just picked up a 4" baby bowfin and had him for about 2 days now hasnt really eaten anything tried blood worms...what can i do?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Just got mine in from TFDfish Saturday morning (~3-4"). I purchased 4 of em and put them in a 55gal. I then bought rosy, and bloodworms but it had a hard time getting the rosy and were not interested in bloodworms or blackworms?? So I Drained the water level to about 5-6" off the bottom and adding air stones and a small sponge filter. It did the trick!!! They are eating the rosy's easy and I'm adding chopped shrimp and its doing some good but the rosy and gupys will do a lot better!!! Good luck bud and let me know..I love these guys!!! By the way, starvation is a common death to these native species when they are young...Gobrian44;4129751;4129751 said:Hey just picked up a 4" baby bowfin and had him for about 2 days now hasnt really eaten anything tried blood worms...what can i do?
