Does my fire eel have ick? I had a black sail fin molly in there but he had white spots on him and he didn’t make it but that was about two weeks ago and I’ve been watching all of my fish everyday since that happened and it’s the first day I’ve seen this on my eel I’m not sure if it’s ick or nothing everything with the water parameters are good... i was treating my two syno catfish’s with melafix because they got a few scrapes on them from decor but I removed those pieces I’m not sure if the melafix would make those white dots my fire eel is out swimming and eating like normal ... I have my fire eel with African cichlids two large apple snails two feather fin Synodontis catfish two albino pelcos Two fiddler crabs ( that was supposed to be food ) and panda gara 55C65C38-5996-47DC-9223-63B54734836A.jpegE4E4397C-AFA2-4E4F-9B98-74409E5D5C1B.jpeg82C4F48D-6D0F-446F-8A1F-0EA167F8A28F.jpeg

I’d raise the temperature and add 3 tbsp or salt for every gallon

I’m not sure how to treat a Scaless Fish with ick
If try seachem paragaurd. Divide the dosing and give half dose now and then the other half in 4 hrs of doing well.

I’d wait on the salt. These type of eels and smaller sized eels seem to be sensitive. Paraguard at divided doses is safer than the salt. If the med should fail then I’d go to the salt. The salt dose is a bit high should be 3 tsp per given in divided doses.
