They look exactly like one my LFS was selling, they called him a Marble Lined Gar. I bought 2 knowing that the "Marble Lined" crap is just crap. They are eating guppies. However, one has become a wonderful color of brown, I am wondering if he is a different Gar than the Florida, and just in the wrong batch.....

How fast do they grow to 8"? i just got mine and its about 3" now
