Have you tried not breaking it in half? I've seen 1" dats taking Hikari floating Carnivore whole. They're just holding it in their mouth but definitely not letting go. Looks really cute. They'll eventually take it in when its soft enough and you'd think that one is enough to fill their tummys...then you see them go for another. LOL.
I tried but it was too big-one it hits the bottom they show no interest

Little indos that size will become stable very quickly with perfect/low nitrogen in water. They are extremely sensitive to water quality. Perfect water and raised temps 80+, heavy handed aquarium salt..

With comfort comes stability, appetite, and loads of character.

Freeze dries or frozen bloodworms never fail. Crunched up hikari floaters work. Having a few temporary pellet hammering tankmates help as well. Bala sharks are great datnoid guides
