what does one need to do to set up a leopard breeding facility? How much would it cost?

Well, depending on the number of specimens you wanted to hold. I would say between 2-3 ponds ranging between 10,000 - 15,000 gallons a piece. With filteration, pools, specimens, salt, sand, rock, ect., ect. I would say to do everything 1st class you would be looking at a price range of $50,000 - $100,000. However it could be done for alot more and alot less depends how the person(s) decides to go about it.

It'd be awesome to see ... but somehow I don't think it'll be in Ontario :) That's a lot of boxes of Instant Ocean you're gonna need lol. Good luck though!

FYI, an industrial size protein skimmer could cost you that $50,000 alone...

Damn straight I will, that would be awesome!

How would you be planning on dealing with water quality? Massive refugium or denitrators as frequent WCs would be horribly expensive...

I'd imagine you could get some significant grant/funding support as well...
