Was feeding my stingrays this morning when i realized that there were 5 baby motoros in my pond!!
Seems that mummy motoro ( which i have suspected to be pregnant) has decided to deliver probably early in the morning. I have put all 5 into a little enclosure in the pond together with a juvenile flower ray so that i can feed them. They don't seem to be interested in eating, just lying around. I am thinking of frozen bloodworms and small live ghost shrimps. The parents as well as the other adults ( Henlei ) eat cockles, prawns and fish fillet. Have not got a chance to sex them yet.Strangely enough, the babies appear to have more dots on their bodies when you compare to the parents.
Some pics attached. Sorry for the quality but difficult to take pics of fish in a pond with the water reflection.
