Awesome bro!! Its not an easy task to breed dwarfs, or Crencichla for that matter. Props to you!! Do you have leaves in there? The first picture looks like there are some rottin leaves in there...very kewl! Helps to lower the pH and all I'm sure! :D

Nice work

Hey thanks alot i've been trying to get babies from this species for almost a year! my other pair would breed every few weeks but i would get no fry. i got a new pair a few weeks ago and have already had this great success . yes those are oak leaves in there it works very well for almost all softwater fish . it lowers ph by adding humic acid does not pollute the water at all and really helps encourage the groth of tiny micro organisms which the tiny fry feast on! i'd definetly reccomend you use them if your trying to breed your pikes and it's very simple especially this time of year just use any leaves in the oak family including beech, and be sure the area your collecting from is free of pesticides or other contaminants.. just research to make sure the species you keep tolerate humic acid - some do not.

Awesome bro!! You should start keepin the other larger pikes and see how successful at breeding you are with those!! :D

I've considered it i keep mostly apistogramma , small fish are sorta my thing. but i love tigrinis and jegui! i have some large tanks but there full of apisto colonies , and babies i'm growing out.

I see why you like little fish. Nothing better than seeing a fish and thinking to yourself, "that is a big tank for that fish." My friend recently purchased some apisto caquatoides "orange flash". Awsome fish and I think he sparked the apisto thing with me again. I will keep them again soon.
