I don't have the means to upgrade. The difference here is that my tank size isn't going to have an affect on the fish's health or ability to live comfortably, which will not be the case for two bulky 3' long fish living in a tank that is only 6' long. And I'd think after being on this site for over a year, the OP has to have heard about how big these fish get by now.
As for the "cyber bully" comment, I don't recall ever calling him names or attempting to defame him in any way...
Not a very big pond, hard to believe he would have a pond like this and not have it stocked already. If it is already stocked then there is no room for the two pacu as they will need whloe 540 gallons for themselves. Of coarse this would still only be a temporary solution for your poor purchase.

Though jclyde's tank actually exists, it not some fantasy made up in the mind of a 12 year old.
U dont know if this kids uncle has a pond or not. Point is hes a kid jcyde is a grown man who is doing the same thing yet bashing the lil kid. Hes a kid he'll live and he'll learn. This site is crazy people on here think they are fish gods or something. If you want to bash someone bash almost every fish store in the usa cause all most all sell pacu. I have yet to see one of you bash the vendors on this site who will sell me a pacu right now without even asking what size tank i have. Grow up and leave the kids alone,you can tell he was scared to post the way he started the post yet the bullys still dove in.
i have had two red-bellied pacus for about 5 months now... they really grow at an incredible pace....
