I havent seen one person bash vendors on here store sometimes yes but there are vendors who have pacu right now for sale and ask no questions.i have purchased fish from vendors on here and never once was i asked about tank size. These fish have many more problems than a lil kid killing a few. Over fishing,habitat loss, and i can promise you hundreds if not thousands of pacu die in transit alone every year to the usa. You people are a joke if the only people who bought fish were the people who could properly house them there would be no fish trade. And even though is probably hard for you fish fanatics to believe but most fishkeepers dont have huge tanks or visit sites like these most lfs dont even sell tanks past 55-75 gallons. And last when i was a kid in the 80s people didnt have internet and there were very few books with correct information so everything was trial and error aka live and learn.

Research? If I was a vendor on here I am going to believe that anyone wanting to buy fish from me has done their research. Especially if they have been a member of MFK for over a year and a half. Again how many of the millions of posts do you think you haven't read? If their is a vendor on here irresponsibly selling fish I guarantee he is told about it by one of the thousands of members of this site. You and your limited time here have missed a great deal.

This is the age of the internet, research is easy and readily available. Comparing this to what someone had to go through in the 80's is just dumb and has no relevance to this situation

But back to topic. How are your Pacu doing? You said they eat meat? I believed they are plant eaters?

It's okay, I'm done arguing with ignorant hypocrites anyway. The OP will figure out our cause for concern soon enough (and this is, again, giving him the benefit of the doubt by assuming he doesn't already know better).

preaching that a tank is too small for a baby fish but yet I have seen very few people on here providing anywhere near "enough" tank for the fish they keep.

I like sig lines too cause they make it easy to point fingers....
