Haha yep ours will grow up together.... I already plan a basement pool and I fed him some worm last night and beef heart this morning 
lol. I just got the catfish some more worms tonight. He ate a big fat one for dinner and loved it. He almost ate it right out of my hand (well, I had my hand submerged under water and dropped it. It was so cute....)
He still won't move from his flower pot. Silly shy fish.

I got this because I have never seen them in town before, they had 2 at my LFS for 69.99$ ... He is 3" (3.5" including tail). ^_^ They said he was eating brine/mysis and probably bloodworms... I have brine and bloodworm cubes and some hikari sinking wafers but I doubt those would be suitable for him. I know they eat anything, and I'll probably order some massivore ... when will he be big enough? When he can fit it in his mouth? LOL.
And I'm upgrading my tank soon. Now I might upgrade it sooner ...
Just got to build my stand and once I order, only 3 weeks until the tank is built. So I'm pretty excited.
I was going to get a 300 gallon tank, but I think I'm going to extend the depth to 36" now ...
I know he'll get super huge eventually but he'll get moved at that point.
Yay. I'm so happy, I wanted one forever.
Any tips that might help me as he grows into a monster super fast?
I just got my abay too.............$20............3inch............The depth is not what you wnat to pay attention too....It is the length, and more the width...........
