Well now the duo is showing the first signs of Ich:WHOA: I am going to chalk this up to the water change i did yesterday and my kids "tank bangers" messin around my babies tank. I already added some salt about half the recomended dose and upped the temp a few degrees, as well as turned the air pump loose at the gang valve. any other tips guys?



Of course I noticed this the morning some one is coming by to buy one of em...

keep doing what your doing... and at least you caught it right away.. good luck ..wish you the best for those babies.
 
Well I sold the less dominant one last night to a fellow MFK'r and the status of the parasite growth seems to be in neutral. The one I kept is still eating pretty normal, But I was hoping to train pellets soon and now I'm scared to skip a single feeding because of the stress level. I guess I kind of have one question though, If he/she will only take krill is that gonna be enough nutrients to keep the immune system strong enough to beat the parasites?

you can always soak lightly in vitamin mixture or garlic oil... glad to hear he is not worse... and still eating...yes i would not mess with eating right now either... just keep him eating is good sign.,.. you can add a little garlic oil into water they say it enhances appetite and helps immune system...
