in my experience, its not a good idea to put new/baby turtles in a tank with others. Also you shouldnt put them in a tank with more than 4" of water. Good call on the water temp, should definetly be about 85.
Listen to the little guy breath, if you hear any soft popping noise, he has a a resp infection.
Sometimes, when they are little, they can be picky eaters. I'd try small amounts of differnt things. (beefheart, krill, bloodworms, crickets,) Mine wouldnt really eat pellets when they where little.
When I first got my youngest RES, he was acting similar to yours, except he was popping when breathing. He also has little legions on his skin. I took him to the vet. Cost about $70. Thet gave me two types of meds and a hydro therapy vile. I had to inject the poor little guy everyday for like 6 weeks.
When he started feeling better, he ate everything in the tank, and even fought the bigger RES for food.
Sorry to drone on, it late. I'd be worried about him floating upside down or any other way besides straight. Not a good sign.
