I just don't like that fact he did not come clean as he stated and promised numerous times. Were are pictures of fish and just come clean and say what happened.

And MFK should not allow these type of sale threads, Why would this not be considered a commercial sale? He is not vendor and commercial sales are only allowed by vendors there were so many ways to stop this from happening and all seem to be ignored. So what is rule for something to be considered a commercial sale? When trying to sell alot of fish for thousands of dollars and there not from you collection I would say thats commercial sale NO?

How about new rule you must have fish in your posession in order to sell, cause 99% of time these type of sales end in problems.

my opinion still stands, so pls try not to be so one sided and admit it if you prepaid, then its your fault also, along with the seller, his connection and theirs or whoever you want to blame for not knowing any better and not doing the research and not listening to what others were trying to tell the buyers and the seller, but again also dont forget to blame yourself for putting yourself in this situation. but i do agree with you. the seller should pay you back or give you an indo that looks like an ST..

everytime something like this happened to me (and it has), i am pissed and want to blame everyone, especially the seller, but in the end i i'm pissed at me, myself, and i for putting myself there and not doing my research. listen and learned and so i have. and thats what i did for this and thats why i can sit here at ease and say what i want to say knowing that i didnt put my 3k in for a prepay for the ST like i was going to. so now i sit here 3k even instead of 3k less. i'm glad i didnt ..follow me now?

All this would have been avoided if the thread was closed when the OP posted this for sale. Importations of ST’s are illegal because of the Lacey Act which recognizes all import and export laws of other countries. I posted ad for fully aquatic turtle not even FRT or any other banned species and my ad was closed within 30 mins and I was given infraction for soliciting restricted species. But this ad was allowed to stay open and buyers deposited money. Now everyone is just flaming everyone’s point of view.

You missed the point. ST is not on CITES! And who are you trying to fool? What's your fully aquatic turtle that is not even FRT?

i second that. no one should be selling fish off of someone else's list. it should have to be in their possesion. atleast when seller has it already he wont have to worry about getting stuck with a pre-paid fish that someone asked him to order and flakes out. or the buyer gets the wrong fish. etc...i concur with mike...
