That's interesting. He put STs for sale on craigslist on Friday, yet MFK hasn't heard anything further....hmmm......

You missed the point. ST is not on CITES! :grinno: And who are you trying to fool? What's your fully aquatic turtle that is not even FRT?[/QUOTE]

ST’s aren’t listed on CITES, but ST’s are illegal to export under Thai law. The Lacey Act recognizes that law and therefore ST’s are illegal to import to America. I am sure the EU, Japan, and most developed countries have some kind of law that also recognizes other countries law under certain circumstances. That's why ST's are near impossible to export out of Thailand and so hard to import to countries that are developed and have customs check.

Most turtles are fully aquatic… I just didn’t know which ones at the time and want to know what people had.

I just don't like that fact he did not come clean as he stated and promised numerous times. Were are pictures of fish and just come clean and say what happened.

And MFK should not allow these type of sale threads, Why would this not be considered a commercial sale? He is not vendor and commercial sales are only allowed by vendors there were so many ways to stop this from happening and all seem to be ignored. So what is rule for something to be considered a commercial sale? When trying to sell alot of fish for thousands of dollars and there not from you collection I would say thats commercial sale NO?

How about new rule you must have fish in your posession in order to sell, cause 99% of time these type of sales end in problems.

^^^ agreed^^^

Do you know, for the fact, that Thai's law prohibited to export ST, or just heresay.... Or do you know, for the fact, that Thai's law prohibited to export ST, or the law prohibited to collect/harvest ST from the wild? The last time I checked, ST can still be owned, sale, and traded within Thailand. Plus, ST also available in Thai's neighbor countries like Cambodia or Vietnam (although it's called ST :screwy:) so what makes you think that ST is only comes out of Thailand? Which country that is developed and have custom check that makes it so hard to import ST? Do your home work, especially on the fully aquatic turtle! :D Not most turtle are FULLY aquatic! :grinno:
