Yeah, she's stoked about the Sevs. I showed her some pictures, and shes excited. I like the idea that they are simple keepers without crazy requirements, are frequently active, and have a good presence in the tank.

I saw someone mention some "super red" and other sev varieties. How many different varieties are there, I had only knows about golds and greens.

The super reds look awesome, may be harder for me to find though. The rotkeils don't really do it for me. I'm leaning towards super reds and common greens.

you could get an Asian upside down catfish they are super cool but can not be with servems so if you get a larger fish Asian upside down catfish will be a good choice larger fish include oscars , green terrors , pearsei cichlid , (mabe jags because they might atack an Asian upside ndown catfish) , (Mabe midas cichlis and red devils because rd and midas are very aggrtessive)

they are rare but super cool i have a 8 incher but they are aggressive the cichlid hast to be at lest a foot long to be with an Asian upside down catfish but it is hard to find an adult so you will probibly have to get a baby look up Asian upside down catfish on google imiges they are asome my 8 inch Asian upside down catfish chased my 7 inch pearsei cichlid so the cichlid hast to be bigger than the Asian upside doen catfish but my Asian upside down catfish never messed with my 14 inch oscar They are worth trying or at lest looking them up
