We have a hawk that lives on our property. He keeps the rabbit and bird population in check.

Cool Pacu Mom.I have racoons as visitors to my yard along with an opossum,Dekays snakes and,get this,a family of groundhogs.All this and I live in the city.
 
Found in my backyard-

Eastern bearded dragons.
blue tongue skinks.
pink tongue skinks.
common wall skinks.
various other skinks including their eggs.
hundreds of common house geckos.
eastern Dtella geckos
1 eastern brown snake.
1 red bellied black snake.
2 Carpet pythons.
1 Spotted python.
1 Eastern water dragon.
several red back spiders plus eggs.
over the years ive seen hundreds of huntsman spiders.
loads of unknown spiders.
magpies.
kookaburras
crows
ive seen a few large bird of preys but couldnt identify them.
many other tropical birds with bright colors.
Possoms
fruit bats in the thousands fly over my house every night.
ferral cat.

In the bush ive seen loads of herps but haven't always been able to identify them as they are shyer than those found in the suburbs. The biggest reptiles ive seen in the bush were lace monitors.

Dazz, I'm so jealous!
I'm seeing a lot at my internship, which is just down the road from my house. I'l compile a list later, but indigo buntings stand out the most.
