my WAL has a bad case of fin rot, this morning i fed him and his tank mates and i didn't even see a rot. i slept and when i woke up to see him there was almost nothing left of his tail... i am so shocked!! how do i treat this? please help me.

Finrot that extensively damaging doesn't happen overnight. What tankmates do you have with your lungfish? If the tail was gone, something obviously took a swipe at it.
i'm no expert on fish disease so please i really need all the help... and if this indeed is fin rot...here's the pic.
Finrot is possible. You haven't answered my question what its tankmates are. Tank size as well?
Separate the fish and do daily water changes as necessary. I'd keep a teaspoon or two per gallon of salt to keep bacteria from latching on that infected area.
