hi there, i went to this mall near me yesterday and it really is a bad place, all there fish were on the floor of the tank gasping , dying or dead, they had salvaged the few remaining deccent fish including a TSN, blood parrots and koi angels, any hoo, they had no idea what was wrong with their system, so i said do a water test and there ammonia was maxed out, i brought the 5" TSN which is now in my 5ft tank with salvinis, knifes, large barbs and african frogs, i would thik of it as a rescue mission, they did not tell me that it would get 2 - 3ft, they did not tell me anything, that place is a pile of sh*t!

TSN-More like 5'

man i went into a pet store in the mall the other day and what i saw made me sick. of the 20 tanks they had only a few had living fish in them, none of them had hardly any bubbles coming out of the bubblers, and the tank that said oscars on it was sooo filthy dirty i couldnt even tell if there were any fish in it. i wonder if there is a law against keeping fish this way. oh b t w i overheard one of the employees call a neon tetra a type of goldfish ha ha ha ha .kinda sad

you would think that a qualifying question in the application for emplyment would be to know what a neon tetra is. its only about the most commen fish there is. the pet stores around me are pretty good. some better then others of corse for for the most part i cant complain. although i have never really gone to the one in the mall. i mean how many good pet stores are in malls?

If you have been a member since November, how could you miss all the discussions and pics on large catfish? Not very observant are we?

 AWWW!!! its fun to go into walmart and ask the people about fish u should try it. its the funiest thing in the world!!!one time i went in there to buy dog food and pastsed by the fish section (as im sure all of us do just because they are there), and they had columbian sharks they were covered in ICK. the guy that was working there was explaining to people who were going to buy some that they are really glitter sharks and he just put 3 in his tank 3 weeks ago and its was so cool cause now the other fish are geting glittery to lololol     and the famly bought two it was so funny i had to walk away and laugh.

You always hear walmart horror stories but the one near here has a small but well kept fish section.
