i think your sick, jimk, there was alot of fish dying i know, thats life, get on with it, blah blah, but i could not just have left and let it die.. and yes i did quarantine, but it was only the water had ammonia in it.
 
lucky 4 me I have quite a few good shops around me there are two out of a whole I dont reccomend which although fish business has good afrcan selection or cichlids in gen. the workers are a-holes and the owner of the sotre is a lying two timing buttwipe.

The other one is just dirty dirty dirty. They keep their fish in good condition I dont know how but they do and there tanks are pretty gross.

yea we used to have nice ma and pa fish shops heres, all gone when walmart came to town, so now we have goldfish, tetras and common cichlids to choose from, oh yea, you can get a betta in a cup too

I want a Longnose gar in a cup but I can't find it at any walmart.
 
i think that WAL-mart supercenter stored should be banned. the richest most profitable company in america is wiping out UNION grocery stores that pay employees livable wages buy paying substandard wages. there are new little wal mart grocery stores popping up all over vegas and there is a picket in front of every one. sad to see. ive heard of them even encouraging employees to get on welfare. so are we really saving any money from them. oh yeah this is a fish thread.sorry i just had too. :grinno:
 
It's hard to find a good fish store, I have a local who does pretty good but otherwise I have to drive 40 miles to get a good variety of fish. I've had more die buying from a mall or half *** store than I can count!
