  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
always forget to unplug the heaters, until i smell the burning lol. ..I don't run wet/dry on my set up so I can't put in the sump. Thats the only bad habit for me.
lol, i have done this a few times

Unplugging plugs with wet hands, been shocked twice and still haven't learned..

Ouch!! definitely needs to be a lesson learned

My hubby is terrible for this! He's cracked a little 40ltr before by dropping the water level, not turning the heaters off, then getting distracted.

The heat from the heaters combined with cold glass doesn't end well. You hear "CRACKBANGWOOSH" and there's water on the floor and fish everywhere.. Not good, and not fun to clean up.

He also messes around with the electrical outlets with wet hands, he hasn't been shocked by it YET, but I'm guna laugh when he does (given it doesn't seriously hurt him) and give him the most smart ath "I told you so" that ever was told. :D

I have a terrible habit of forgetting to dose prime until the tanks ¼ of the way full, thankfully I don't keep any extremely sensitive fish and no ones been hurt by it - yet...

Believe me or not that my dad using tap water on his 10 gallons tank for years without any type of water condition and his fish doesn't die and keep breeding like no tomorrow LOL I mentioned took away his 10 gallons from him in other thread due to his habit not doing water change in YEARS too...Oddly, his mollies don't even care or mind about untreated tap water refill or don't have water change for years neither.
Note:
This is not an example for some lazy fishkeepers to follow LOL

I tend to multitask and do 90% wc on small tanks. Fell asleep filling my 240(80hr work week got to me), luckily I fill the display tank so once the water starts filling the overflow it functioned as an alarm clock.
