I've had many freshwater predatory over the years and I have got to say my new VATF is by far my favorite. I've had many species of pirahna, wolf fish, snakeheads, etc. but the ATF is the most predatory of these fishes. For example, when I throw in feeders it literally takes 2 seconds before the fish is caught. The only other comparable fish was the red snakehead. My feeder tank is right next to the ATF's tank, and he is constantly attacking the feeders-even after I feed him (fat bastard). He's only 5" or so and I thought they were very timid, but he seldomly runs when I walk by-in fact he most of the times follows and chases me which is cool.
The fish is literally the ultimate predator or badarse, with the crazy teeth, big eyes, and literally built like a torpedo (by far the quickest fish I've ever had).
As an aside, I made a chaser for him (string tied at the end with some yellow rolled up paper) and I've been dangling it in front of him and boy does he attack it with a vengeance. You guys should try it-it's really cool.

Their jaw strength and teeth will take out anything.
Any fish that is too big to be ripped apart and consumed will be considered a toy and will get ripped up anyway. They remind me of my Staffordshire Bull Terriers ripping their toys apart.

goliath tiger fish, snakehead, black rhom, dovii, exodon tetra(dont let the name fool you) red devil, flowerhorn, great white shark, vampire fish, breeding convicts, gold piranha, oscar(the mean ones) and goldfish XD
