Badis badis and Peacock Gudgeons...

And my understanding is at least the Peacock Gudgeon I'm looking at is NOT a brackish water species, correct?

And a couple im still trying to get my hands on LOL l1.pngl2.png small eyed loter 1 1 FIM.png fimbriate gudgeon 1 1ARU 2.png aru gudgeon 1 1GAINT.png giant gudgeon 1 O.MACRODON3.png and gangetic gudgeon just to name a few LOL. GOOD LUCK in your search always nice to have some goby keepers in the U.S most i talk to are in asia.

Well since I've got an African cichlid tank, and a community tank, wanted to do a planted tank with fish that aren't seen much, and after nixing a lot of idea due to my local water quality, difficulty of keeping, etc., I stumbled upon the Badis and gudgeon, which seemed perfect candidates for that I wanted to do, and compatible with the ornamental shrimp, which was the original idea for me getting this tank...
I managed to come up with cool semi-oddball fish, and my shrimp, so I can have my cake and eat it too, lol.

It'll probably be a bit to get it all set up, as this one is going in MY room, I'm going to be all OCD in making sure everything is excactly how I want it... Got some cool background ideas I want to try out, so we'll see how they work out I guess...
