yea tried feeding him yesterday but he didnt take it, he only seems to eat every other day or so before the attack
Why try feed it?
Just keep water change and the meds on and let it relax.
Don't try to feed it
sure meds are great but with out any nutrition from food the aro is not going to recover fast and or keep its mobilism up to help fight any infections/heal the wound.

yea true, i also had a bacterial infection on my oscar when he was 4 or 5" from bashing into a rock and i thought he was a goner but nope i brought him back and he made it ! but other then what im already doing not sure what else to do i used that last bit of salt in the tank yesterday should i just keep doing the melafix/pimafix treatment until sunday/monday (first day of treatment) then do a 50% water change ?
Never used meds on any fish, nothing clean water and salt can't fix unless it's bone structure damage or a bad bacterial infection.

ya i used the melafix and pimafix as to me it looked like bacterial infection as well, but a little bit of meds wont hurt.... melafix and pimafix arent really a strong "med" from what ive been told....you guys think i should do a 50% WC this weekend ? or just 25% like it says on the bottle of the melafix/pimafix
